Colonic hydrotherapy is a naturopathic treatment used to cleanse the body of any unnecessary toxins and faecal wastes that may have become trapped in the body for reasons that may include poor diet, stress, poor muscle tone or other causes.
Using the colonic irrigation procedure, in which a gentle infusion of water enters the colon by means of special disposable tubing, the body is able to expel waste product which has not been eliminated through the normal process and has become trapped in the pockets and crevices of the colon. Once this elimination successfully occurs, a sense of well-being may return as the body is freed from recycling the toxicity of the trapped wastes. Many clients report a sense of ‘lightness’, improved skin clarity, fresher breath, better mood and a reduced incidence of headaches.
